Robert R. McLendon, IV, P.C. Supports the Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation

(BLAKELY, GA.)– The Princess Macy Golf Tournament was held on June 29 at Southern Hills Golf Club in Hawkinsville, GA. All proceeds received benefit the Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation, an organization established to help fund the research needed to increase the survival rate of children diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Macy was the daughter of Jeff and Angel Easom, formerly of Blakely, GA, and passed away in June 2005.

“Our children are priceless. I want to encourage other businesses to support such valuable organizations,” says Robert R. McLendon, IV. “I hope others will learn about the foundation and the dynamic impact it’s making for those children diagnosed with pediatric cancer.”

About Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation

The Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation in Perry, GA was formed to help find a cure for hepatoblastoma, a form of pediatric liver cancer, as well as other pediatric cancers. Macy Easom was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma at the age of four and passed away at the age of five. Her family has formed the foundation in hopes of partnering with doctors for pediatric cancer research and to eventually bring a pediatric cancer research center to the Southeast.
